New Construction Project
We are in the process of upgrading and
updating some of the equipment at our water plant.
In this project, we are adding an additional clarifier, an
additional clear well, a new settling
pond, some new valves, meters and pumps. These new upgrades
are a step to help insure
a plentiful supply of good clean water to our growing
community. Below are photos of the
currant construction process.
Below are photos of the floor of the new clear well.
This is a closer shot. The concrete for the base has been
poured and is in the
slow process of drying. The forms that you see will be the new walls of the
tank.
After all of the concrete cures, a large crane will come in and stand them
upright
on the base.
In this photo you see more forms to be raised and one of the
sediment ponds
that has been reworked.
This is an additional sediment holding pond.
This pad will be the base of the new clarifier. Will be
pouring this soon. Lots
of work, steel, gravel and concrete go into these pads.
