        Distribution Report      

                Regular distribution samples all returned safe for August.

                We have had 8 new connections in the past month.

                We have had three leaks this last period; one was on a 3'' line, one on an 8'' line,
                and one on a 14'' line .
                They were repaired and back in service the same day.

        Plant Report      

                The bacteriological examination by the Arkansas Health Department for the
                water samples that we sent in for this month were free of coliform organisms
                and safe for drinking.

                The turbidity on the finished water is          0.06         0.01         0.3
                The pH on the finished water is                  7.7             7              9   
                The chlorine residual leaving the plant at     1.4              1             3   
                The finished water alkalinity is                    29
